We offer homemade jam and jelly, hearty sausage products from regional butchers, fresh eggs, honey from Eifel beekeepers and further delightful things to start in a good day.

The history of our Hotel.

On the Roman Road, which guides from the Rhine through the Eifel to Aachen, Lüttich, Cologne and Trier, the princes of Thurn and Taxis build up a mail coach line. The Vulkan-Stuben was constructed in the stables of a station to change the horses. 

1876 a pub and a lodging house accured at this point.

Since then the hotel is was always renewed, expanded and modernized.

Kathi Jaax, nee Jax, by now in the fourth generation, expanded the hotel after the marriage with Klaus Jax in 1968 in a nearly complete re- and new building to a small but mighty Hotel Vulkan-Stuben.

1994 a complete hotel floor was topped up.

1996 after another extension and modernization the hotel was honored by the DEHOGA with three stars (3***) of the german hotel classification.
